Part 1

The best photo I took for the Dozen Photo Challenge was my Monochromatic photo. I really like how this photo captures a snow day in Delaware with a snowman in the front yard. The most challenging aspect of this assignment was the Color/Black & White section. Finding photos with the right colors was tricky, so I had to get creative. I also found the lighting section challenging since it was cloudy, and the sun wasn’t out when I took my photos. In the future, I’ll try to be more creative with my images and explore different locations, especially outdoors.

Hi Riley!
I really like the image you chose for your blog. I especially like the attention to detail the photo is, with the people on the chair in front and the people skiing below you, to the ski marks on the mountain. I'm a big skier, so looking at these pictures made me feel like I was on the chairlift also. I thought you were very creative with this assignment!

Hi Alexander, I like the photo you chose for you best photo. It does a good job of capturing a cozy snow day feeling. I really like the contrast of the house surrounded by the snow covered outside. The trees also frame the image nicely drawing my eyes towards the center.
