Part 1:

The best photo I took for this challenge was the Aesthetically Evaluative photo of the NYC skyline. I believe that this is my best photo because it captivates the city skyline and the essence of NYC. The most challenging part of this assignment was the theoretical photograph. It was very challenging to find a photo that captivated this. It was changeling from reading the definition and looking at other examples, trying to get a clear understanding of a photo that was theoretical. In the end, I found a great photo that symbolizes the theoretical section. In the future to create a stronger picture I will use bright lighting and look at examples to get a better understanding.

Hi Jessica! I loved your aesthetically evaluative photo for this assignment. it’s such a stunning shot of the rainbow! I agree that this was the most fun category. I take a lot of photos like this too, and sunsets are my favorite to capture. I’ve never been able to photograph a full rainbow like yours, it’s so vibrant and draws you in. I also struggled with deciding which photos fit into which category, so I get what you mean. Great job!
